We create eFairJob to make it easier to share your career need with exhibitors, employers and other candidates. You may not want everyone having access to the information you share on eFairJob.  We give you control of your information and default privacy settings limit the information displayed in your profile to your networks, community, exhibitors, employers and other candidates.

1. Automatically transmitted information
You should know that when you access our website, a certain amount of information is exchanged automatically, without your intervention, between your computer and our website’s server. The following information, which doesn’t identify you personally, is then exchanged: the Internet domain name and the IP address (an IP address is a number automatically assigned by your Internet service provider every time you surf on the Web) with which you access our site; the type of navigator and operating system used to access our site; the date and hour at which you access our site; the pages you visit; and if you reach our site through a link on another site, the address of that site (referent site).

This exchange of information is necessary so that the files transmitted by our server match the computer equipment you are using. eFairJob keeps the information required to compile the number of visitors, the most frequently visited pages, the technology used by the customers of the site, the reference sites and the countries from which the site is accessed.

eFairJob uses your personal information to operate and improve the virtual Job Fair, and will not give your personal information to third parties except to operate, improve and protect the service.

The personal information you provide to us during registration is used for eFairJob’s internal purposes only. eFairJob will not give any of your personal information to any third party without your express approval except: as reasonably necessary to fulfill your service request, to third- party fulfillment houses, customer support, billing and credit verification services, and the like; to comply with tax and other applicable law; as otherwise expressly permitted by this term or as otherwise authorized by you; to law enforcement or other appropriate third parties in connection with criminal investigations and other investigations of fraud; or as otherwise necessary to protect eFairJob, its agents and other users of the service. eFairJob does not guarantee the security of any of your private transmissions against unauthorized or unlawful interception or access by third parties. eFairJob can disclose any information about you to private entities, law enforcement agencies or government officials, as eFairJob, in its sole discretion, believes necessary or appropriate to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries, or as otherwise required by law.

eFairJob  may observe and record your interaction within the Service, and may share aggregated and other general information (not including your personal information) with third parties.

You acknowledge and agree that eFairJob, in its sole discretion, may track, record, observe or follow any and all of your interactions within the service. eFairJob may share general, demographic, or aggregated information with third parties about our user base and service usage, but that information will not include or be linked to any personal information without your consent.

2. External links
Our site contains links to other sites. When you leave the EFairJob virtual space, the information exchanged is not covered anymore by the EFairJob privacy policy and falls under the new site’s policy if applicable. If you have comments or questions, you can contact us at any time by using the email address visible on every page of our site.

3. Information disclosure
Unless forced by the law, we will not disclose information about your visits to EFairJob, nor the personal information you may have given us as your name, address, email address and credit card number, to other parties not linked to EFairJob.

4. Confidential resumes
For your protection, eFairJob doesn’t ask for your, social security number, banking information and private information such as your marital status, age, birth date, nationality, weight, height etc

You can choose between those 3 profiles:

Public :
Your profile information becomes accessible to everyone. They will be able to communicate with you as well as refer you to their colleagues. The public profile drives high visibility and thus maximizes your presence at the virtual fair.

Optimal :
Only employers will have access to your profile information. They will be able to contact you directly and to invite you to apply for jobs. The optimal profile provides a focused visibility aimed at employers only. Other candidates will not have access to your information. When exhibitors are searching for prospects, they will be able to view your information and contact you if they are interested!

Confidential :
No one, including exhibitors, will have access to your contact information, unless you accept a request to do so. The confidential profile mode will conceal your name and contact information. When a company expresses an interest in your profile, they will send you a request to get in touch with you. You can then accept or refuse to share that information.

5. Updating information on your account
You will find, in your account section, options that allow you to modify the information you have submitted to us. Backup systems keep all the data during a certain period of time to prevent any loss of information that may be caused by technical failures, but resumes that are deleted from the eFairJob database are destroyed permanently and cannot be retrieved afterwards.

6. Your comments
eFairJob has set up a space for you to post comments. These comments become the property of eFairJob. We can use these comments as testimonies and success stories, for marketing purposes or to communicate with you for more comments on our site.

7. Children and teenagers
Children and teenagers should obtain the authorization of their parents before giving us their coordinates. Furthermore, the supervision of an adult is advised.

8. General provisions
The Service is controlled and operated by eFairJob from its offices within the province of Quebec, Canada. eFairJob makes no representation that any aspect of the service is appropriate or available for use in jurisdictions outside of the Canada. Those who choose to access the service from other locations are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.
